my baby is a leather jacket

010

Remember me? Yeah, I know it’s been a while. But believe me, I have a good excuse! First, there was this twister, right, and Auntie Em’s running around yelling, “It’s a twister! It’s a twister!” And so here I am running my butt off trying not to die when HOLY HELL here I am above the rainbow, what the crap is that about I ask you. So anyways, moral of the story is that if you think the creepy lady who wants to get you and your little dog too is a witch, you should probably run away because what the heck lady, I don’t even have a freaking dog.

In the same vein, I’d like to also spend a minute or two venting my virulent anger against The Man, who at some point in time decided it was a good idea for phones to retail for almost $600. Holy crap MAN, who has $600? A hint: I don’t! So when my Droid X (which definitely did not cost as much the first time when I got it with my yearly upgrade or whathaveyou) got a little itty bit wet in the twister that hit the ‘Burg last week and stopped working, let me tell you I was a wee bit peeved. Especially after the guy in charge of repairs told me he couldn’t do anything to fix it. Repairs, my butt! The guy couldn’t get the freaking battery out for twenty minutes (which apparently was my fault because some mysterious easy-pull tab was missing? Because obviously I like to make things as difficult as possible). Right, so anyways, I think that if a phone costs $600 to replace it should FREAKING BE WATERPROOF. And for that matter nuclear-blast proof. Hell, it should just be a Nalgene. Or a cockroach. Those vermin can live through anything, and they’re not good for anything anyways. It’s win-win. DO YOU HEAR ME VERIZON? I WANT A NALGENE-COCKROACH-DROID. AND I WANT IT FOR LESS THAN THE COST OF A BERMESE MOUNTAIN DOG WITH A FLAWLESS PEDIGREE.

In other news, this is the jacket I picked out with my Christmas money last year. Now that the weather’s starting to cool off—especially while I’m here at home for the weekend reclaiming my title as a Masshole in the frigid North—I can finally wear it again! On scale of one to excited, I’m freaking PUMPED. About the jacket, that is. This weather blows.

P.S. The nailpolish is seafoam green by Icing. New favorite.
