like a damn fool

So I have a confession... I kind of love Tyra Banks. And by that I mean that I'm not only obsessed with ANTM, and also love Life Size (TELL me you don't love that movie, just TRY to say that), but also that in my free time I may or may not have seen several/many episodes of The Tyra Show...

And so yesterday when I may or may not have happened to be in the room when The Tyra Show somehow happened to be airing totally coincidentally and unrelated to the fact that I was holding the remote... Well anyways, during the show, which was the goodbye show because IT'S ENDING--sniffle--Tyra was reflecting on her first few shows and she mentioned how she was still modeling at the time so she always had a fan blowing her hair back in the opening shot. But really she said that she was a silly inexperienced talk show host and the fan made her look "like a DAMN fool."

(Just humor me here.) Now picture Tyra banks saying, "Like a DAMN fool," and tell me it's not SO funny... Ah. Well I thought it was funny.

Anyways, that was our daily diversion, and now for the obligatory mental leap that always manages to find some connection, no matter how abstruse, between said diversion and the following pictures: Don't I look like a DAMN fool? I can't decide if I look more foolish in the ones where I am trying to look like a fool, or the ones where I'm trying not to...

 Ah, the over-smile. So typical. Of when I was five.

 New vintage belt obtained from the closet of my mother. I'm a big fan of the rusty-red color that is so much more vibrant than plain brown leather.

 I LOVE THESE POCKETS. MADEWELL, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE BEFORE I EVEN LOVE IT? (AND THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN TO PUT IT ON SALE JUST FOR ME??)

 Socks and booties. Oh I love wearing pastel-colored socks with everythingggg.
